Is this something new at PEC?

FI and I booked the PEC in February for our Sept 2011 wedding.  Just recently I was browsing and saw that they now use Buttercream for the cake providor.  However, I could have sworn that when we booked with them the information about the cake was different and that the PEC had someone on site that made the cakes.  Or am I losing it? HA.

    Buttercream was the "preferred cake vendor" in our contract, but I've heard from other PEC knotties that booked earlier before that was written in.  I've talked to Heather about this and they will not charge a cake cutting fee with another cake vendor as long as you have someone else cut it and serve it with your own provided plates and forks.  Hope that helps!  I'm going to a tasting tomorrow at Buttercream :) yummmm!

    Yeah, for awhile there I think they had their own cake, and now it looks like they switched to Buttercream. When I booked they had no preferred vendor or cake cutting fee, but I'd just email Heather and see how that works for your contract with the switch
