Casino or Lodge Venue

Hello my brides to be -

I am looking for ideas on a winter wedding location.  We have two ideas so far... either a casino recepeption (which leaves me up in the air about a ceremony location) or a resort/lodge setting.  Has anyone looked into either of these or have any ideas?

Could look at Mystic Lake Casino-they've got options for ceremony venues, also The Wilds Golf club is just down the street from it.

Rush Creek Golf Club has a lodge-type atmosphere, and it's absolutely gorgeous in the winter.

You could look into Treasure Island Resort & Casino.

Hi there! I'm a 12/8/12 girl too!

You might already know this but just a reminder that Mystic Lake is completely dry - no alcohol allowed anywhere. I also heard that there's someone checking luggage for alcohol before you are allowed up to your room. Just wanted to give you a head's up!

A friend of a friend had her wedding at Treasure Island and heard it was gorgeous. I think either would be completely acceptable, depending on your budget and what you have in mind. I tend to think of a more rustic theme when I hear lodge.
