Videographers

Hi Ladies!

I was wondering if anyone has any good videographer recommendations.  I think the only one I have  heard of is Addvision, but I was hoping to find some others to compare it to.  Even of you haven't personally used them, I would really appreciate the names of some area ones.

Also, if anyone has general price information, I would be forever grateful!  TIA!

Westie Productions! They do a standard video - for about 1k you get two cameras all day and HD and pre ceremony and they are so nice! We didn't want something that looked like a music video and some of the places we looked seemed to do that

I had a crazy videographer experience b/c everyone was booked!!  Around here, the "Big 3" are Prodigy (Nathan), who I think is the best if he does it and not someone else -- technology is most up to date of the three, Blue Skies (also very good and I've heard very good things -- technology is also up to date and they know what they're doing), and True Video (very well known name, been doing it a long time, but a bit old school on the quality which was a turn-off for me).

I decided not to go with True and the other 2 were booked, so I got referred by Blue and Prodigy (Nathan) to a couple co's in Cleveland, who were booked and referred me to a co in Akron (Red Bicycle Media), who referred me to a super expensive but phenomenal co in Cinci and another co called Blue Canister in Dayton.  I went with Blue Canister.  http://bluecanister.com/about/ If you want more info on any of these feel free to PM me.  Good luck!!!

We used Picture Perfect Portraits (they were also our photographer, but they can do one or the other if you only need video still). They were great, affordable, and even put together a "wedding music video" with clips right after the wedding on YouTube so we could share with family and friends right away.  I believe their services are somewhere around the $500 mark (we negotiated free videography on trade, so I'm not positive).

We are using picture perfect potraits too! We were blown away by them and their prices. We were not going to get a video until we saw his samples and they were amazing. He puts it to music and does highlight videos it was amazing we paid 1600 for both photo and video, there are 2 photographers and 2 videographers and they are there all day.

We used True Video.  They were great to work with and we absolutely love our video.

...so you ladies had a good experience with picture perfect portraits? ...I'm in love with the idea of a video but they have been out of the budget spectrum... I think we might be able to squeeze another $500 though =x lol
