My screen name came years ago at a bar from some douchebag trying to pick up me and a friend, trying to flatter us by saying one of us had a pie face and one a banana face, not sure which one of those I would rather be. Anyway, he couldn't get my name Kirsten, right, and kept calling me Qston.

I am a designer, and I love my job. I am not sure I can stay at the same job forever, but I have been there for 5.5 years, and enjoy it. I would like to design until I can retire, but not sure what will happen with the industry.

I feel bad that I didn't include Derek's brother's girlfriend in the family photo.  I never thought about it in advance so when it came time to take the photo I didn't speak up and say I'd like one photo with and one without.   I also wish I would have removed the bra part under my dress later in the evening as it gave me a bad stomach pain around 10:30.  I still had an awesome time, but it was uncomfortable.

I know a lot of ladies think asking for money is tacky, but I remember dancing with my older cousin at his wedding when I was a little girl and it was really special to me.  So I don't judge.  That said, we did not have one at our wedding.  It just didn't feel very "us."

ohhh what do we fight about most? puppies.  no lie. He wants one NOW (kind of like kids), but I want to wait to see if we can buy a house soon... I don't think it's fair to have a big dog in an apartment (even though our apt. is huge.)

That being said, we don't actually "fight" very often at all.  It's really strange how well we get along

<div>Touche :)  We don't have any kids besides "baby kitty," our cat Roxy who is 2 years old.  I'd be ready to have kids soon, but we're doing a lot of home improvement projects that drain the disposable income fund this year and into next.  Ideally, we'd have 3 I think??  Not sure!</div>

She's a nice lady, but sometimes gets on my nerves I always feel a bit uncomfortable around her for whatever reason. She always wants to get me drunk to 'loosen me up' which really annoys me. She raised a good son though, so I definitely respect her for that!

FLOWERS!  Last fall I planted 90 tulips and daffodils.  Yesterday I came home from work and found ten of them peeking up from the ground around the house!  This warm spell has melted the snow about two feet from the house, and there they are, all bright and shiny green!

Also, the end of scraping my car off in the morning.  I bleeping hate doing that.

Open question- what else does everyone else do when they're not playing on the knot?  I work for the Housing offices at the U of M... so basically, I get to talk to every one of the 5000 incoming freshmen and at least 10,000 parents every season

I played piano in high school, still want to do it again but pianos can't fit in tiny apartments! Once we get a house I'll probably buy a digital piano. My favorite celebrity, hmmmmm, I love Natalie Portman, maybe not my favorite,  but I respect her. Least favorite; I dislike many celebrities buy Lindsay Lohan comes to mind, what a train wreck!

I do graphic design.

In my spare time, I spend a lot of time on other wedding blogs, and reading magazines. I wish I went to more movies. I often wonder what I am going to do post wedding... I will have wedding blog withdrawl.
