Fantasy Wedding - Date

Okay, step one in my little social experiment to pick up VKN.  I thought it would be fun to make up a fantasy wedding together.  Budget, availability, and practical sense have no place here!  If it gets going, I'll make a little weebly site to gather all our ideas.  I would expect this to take several VKN's to complete.

So, first order of business is setting a date.  When should our wedding take place?  I'll post a poll once we get a few suggestions out.

    Question: since this is the MSP board, are we suggesting the best date to get married in MN?  If so, I say mid-September (but not on a key fball weekend)!
    If not, my suggestion for date will depend on where it is... so maybe we should get a location first?  I'm type A like that.  Sorry. :)

    Hmm, I hadn't really thought of doing a destination wedding.  But, to be maybe a teeny bit helpful to people making vendor suggestions, keeping in the MSP area would probably be best (I plan on posting on photographers, venues, caterors, etc).  I'm open to suggestions though!

    Should we make a poll for the date, or just see how many responses come in?
    What's after date... venue? :-)  I'm sure we all have suggestions for the dream venue that "got away" (or maybe became reality!)!

    I may be partial, because I've been hanging around the November board.... but I"ve become super jealous of the Thanksgiving brides.

    Sorry I was absent last night.  An old friend dropped by unexpectedly and then the Knot was doing some kind of construction and wouldn't let me back on.

    I'll make a poll for the second week in Sept, Oct, and Nov and see what others like.
