Introducing myself...finally!

Hi ladies! I've been lurking for a little while and have made a few comments, but I've never introduced myself. My name is Julie and I'm getting married in St. Cloud on September 18th (less than 7 months now!). I love all the comments, pics and reading all the good advice everyone shares.  I'm hoping to get a bio going soon so I can do the same.

Welcome and congrats! I am a former St. Cloud girl myself. (St. Cloudite? St. Cloudian?) Where in SC are you getting married? I had my eye on Mulligan's for a long time but we decided to get married in Mpls instead.

Our wedding is going to be at my church in Sartell and then social hour and reception is at the Radisson Hotel. We got so lucky with the Radisson being available, I thought for a while we were going to have to push our date to spring '11 (we couldn't find a venue we loved). And bonus, it's absolutely goregous with the crystal chandeliers in the ballroom.

That's awesome that you snagged a spot and didn't have to wait. I don't know where you're at vendor-wise, but if you're having cake, you should check out Icing Dreams. I just had my tasting today, and it was sooooo good. (Creamsicle cake w/ cream cheese frosting? Um, YUM.) I also met w/ John at Blooming Creations but wound up deciding to use a florist in Mpls who could make last-minute fixes.

Thanks Beka! I actually met with Icing Dreams and the cake was alright, but I wasn't thrille with the service that we received when we stopped in. We've decided to go with Cold Spring Bakery, I've heard nothing but good things about them. I'm actually meeting with John this week! Don't blame you for choosing someone closer, good call! I'
