Typical Tip Amounts?

Hello!
Any opinions on traditional tip amounts for vendors? My wedding is in 7 days (EEK!) and we're trying to get that money set aside but we aren't sure what is typical.

    Wow, congrats.  thats coming up quick.
    I would say to plan for 15-20% for your venders.  Some places do include the gratuaty in the price though (like reception venues) so check before adding it on.

    This exactly. 20% is the standard/norm. If you think they went above and beyond, you could give more. I know with our reception venue, everything was included so we didn't need to give any additional.

    If the vendors include gratuities, you don't need to tip.  Many reception venues and caterers build this into the cost, so look at your contract.  15-20% is quite high for some vendors.  For example, if we tipped our photographer 20% that would be an $800 tip!  Instead, focus on a set amount.  Here is a guide:
