We have been toying with the idea of going up to the Itasca area for our mini-moon, since we want to stay relatively close and I've never been to Itasca and FI was too young to remember his visit there. We were originally thinking of going to the north shore area, but we've already gone there a lot of times, so we want to go somwhere 'new' to us.
Any recommendations of places to stay or things to do? We want to spend plenty of time outdoors, but do NOT want to camp. We love the outdoors but I also love hot showers and comfy beds and someone else doing the cooking 
And ideas would be appreciated!
