Continuing my vendor reviews... lol! Sorry I have a lot to say!
THE CAKE! ELEGANT ICING: A
I used Elegant Icing for our wedding cake, well we actually had cupcakes. The flavors were delicious, she did a great job with the display, as she had a cupcake tower created just for our wedding reception. I loved the overall look and it was just what I had told her I wanted! She did great!!
CEREMONY CHAIR RENTALS: ACC RENTALS: A
I rented chairs for our ceremony at Bent Tree, they were super affordable and so easy to work with! Their chairs were nice, we just rented the basic white ones, which their pricing couldn't be beat by anyone! They reached out to Bent Tree to obtain the location as to where they were to set them up, came before the ceremony and right after to pick them up! They truly made it hassel free!
DJ: GREG ULEN B+
Greg Ulen was recommended by a friend. He was a pleasure to work with, very nice however I felt as if he wasn't up to date with everything that goes on in current weddings (newer traditions, etc). I also literally gave him a spreadsheet of all the songs we wanted to hear, there were over 200 songs, and I gave this to him well before our wedding however at our wedding he still didn't have many of them downloaded on his computer. He didn't play that many songs off the spreadsheet that we wanted to hear. I had said I didn't really want a bunch of older songs, and he kind of ended up playing more than we wanted. He did do a good job DJ'ing though and keeping the party going, he also was very accomodating to us. He is super nice and great to work with, also very affordable!
PHOTOBOOTH: CLIX PHOTO BOOTH RENTALS A+
Clix photobooth was the most affordable photo booth rental I could find in Columbus and came with the best options. They were there for 4 hours, set up and tear down, unlimited prints for our guests and unlimited photos in the booth, along with a DVD they mailed me after our wedding with all the photos (which was so fun to see)! they were a great price, the office people are so nice to work with and when I wanted to adjust the time they were more than willing and accomodating with that. They were there on time, the staff was professional and handled some of my obnoxious friends well. They were even nice when we tried to fit like 15 people in the booth for a photo! lol I would definitely recommend them!
HOTEL BLOCK: HILTON GARDEN INN AT POLARIS: F!
I blocked a hotel block about 9 months or so before my wedding, filled out all the paperwork and they had told me we'd get a free shuttle for my guests, which I filled out the paperwork for that as well. They changed staff and decided to tell me 2 weeks before my wedding, after my guests had already booked their rooms, that they weren't able to give me the free shuttle. They wouldn't help me out at all, except offer for us to call a cab. I spoke with the manager, she offered one cab... but I told her absolutely not because my original agreement was for 2 drops offs and 2 pick ups, now they were only allowing 1 pick up in a cab van that not everyone would even fit in. they woudln't help me out at all and really really upset me and stressed me out as my wedding was 2 weeks ago. My mom ended up getting in touch with another hotel in the area and they were more than willing to help me out. the rooms at the other hotel ended up being a lot nicer and bigger and the hotel overall was nicer. they even gave us a free shuttle at the last minute since the HIlton Garden Inn truly screwed us over.

Linda is amazing! She was a mom of a girl I went to high school with. SHe altered my dress, my grandmas, my sisters, and a few of my other bridesmaids. She is so quick and does a fantastic job. She is super affordable also! She is such a sweetheart!!
