Crinolines

I asked this on the July 11 board, but nobody answered, so I'm hoping someone here will. Who here has purchased a crinoline and how much did it cost? I will begin looking for one soon and want to get the best deal possible. I need a big ivory one that can hold up my giant poof of a dress.

If you don't mind buying used, try craigslist.  I remember seeing quite a few for super reasonable when I was looking.

I bought mine from someone on the For Sale sticky for $20.  I looked around online and it seemed like new they were $50 - $80 but I think it depends on how poofy you need it.  My MOH actually rented hers from a small bridal shop in Iowa - not sure if any in MN do that.

Bridal shops have them (usually around $50 - $90 depending on the poofiness).  You could also try craigslist or eBay.  Or, I got mine at the Good Will Wedding Sale.  I think they have it once or twice a year and I think they get a lot of samples in from bridal salons.  Mine looked pretty new and I got it for $25.

Ditto the PPs, really.  Ebay/craiglist/for sale.

There's also a (new) classifieds on TK.  It's a little crowded, but you can check there, too!

Make sure you really need, I bought one for 50, just got my dress fitted and apparently never needed it and my dress looks better without it.

I have a crinoline that I'm selling for $20. I'll have to check what the fluff is. It's not incredibly fluff just the standard a-line fluffiness I believe. You can email me at ilovebijou at gmail.com if you are interested.

I think a friend of mine rented hers from a local bridal shop for around $25 at heartstrings
