Thank you note question

My MOH is throwing a card shower for me.  It was supposed to be a surprise, but there was a minor drama behind it and FI had to tell me.  My mom called MOH and said she was coming down. So MOH thought my mom thought it was an actual shower.  I got that taken care of. 

 Anyways, my question is this. Should I write individual thank you notes to the people from my parent's church (my church when I lived with parents) that send cards or should I write one to the whole church?  I was thinking individual notes because they are being sent by individual people and not one whole gift from the church.

<div>A card shower is where you are given cards instead of gifts.  So basically the bride is being showered with cards. </div>
