rason for the date is cause the 29th is when  he  asked me to be his GF  with coustomized m&ms back in the day! :). So our favors will be customized m&ms also :).

Congratulations! Your ring is beautiful! We just did a Victorian wedding, too. We had it at the Washington County Historic Courthouse and it was the absulute perfect place for it. If you ever want to talk Victorian wedding, let me know!

    Congrats!

And ditto graysquirrel... the Historic Courthouse in Stillwater is easily the most Victorian-friendly venue in the Twin Cities region. It's a little out of the true metro, but it's soooooo fantastic and affordable. Plus, the existing colors of the space would go really well with purple and red.

    Congratulations!

Also agree on the Courthouse for a venue.  Also worth checking out B&Bs in Stillwater and maybe some on the mansions on Summit Ave. in St. Paul.

graysquirrel , Maybe984 & Quincygirl,  Thanks for the idea of the stillwater court house. Ouyr wedding prolly would be in lino lakes..so i feel it is to far. But we are not 100% of the cereomony location.

So i will def look into it! anyone knows the price of it? im also looking into http://www.americanswedishinst.org/ASI/Weddings.html      Too...

I believe the prices went up a little for 2011, but here's what they were when I got married there last fall:<span style="color:#1f497d;"> <font color="#000000">$1300 on Fridays, $1500 on Saturdays, and $1000 on Sundays. The cost is pretty much just to rent the space, because they give you essentially free reign on choosing a caterer and other vendors.

Unless you're set on a church wedding, you can do your ceremony on the front steps for no extra charge (suuuuuch a pretty view!)
