All of our vendors were GLBT friendly. I am so thankful for the reviews here as I made many decisions based on them. We had 75 guests so were on the smaller side.
Ceremony and Reception - The Darby House
Wedding Coordinator provided by the Darby House - Brooke Dowler
Catered by Cameron Mitchell (CMC)
I cannot say anything wonderful enough about the Darby House. There is a patio outside on Batelle Darby Creek where we were married. Tons of open green space surrounding the house. It was built as an entertaining house. There are floor to ceiling windows which makes it almost impossible to take a bad photo. I did not like CMC's vegetarian entrees, so I gave a suggestion on what I wanted and they made it a reality (I did an individual tasting to make sure). Everyone raved about the veg entree! Brooke made everything happen that we requested and then some. All of CMC's staff were wonderful. The day went by without a hitch - I couldn't have asked for better.
Horse Drawn Carriage - Willowwind
We worked with Mary and Terry who brought Angus, a beautiful black Percheron. I emailed Mary and spoke extensively with her in person one day about the care of her horses. Although I was not able to visit the farm due to my own time constraints, Mary was one of those people whom you know loves their animals. She answered my care questions as well as telling me about one of her earlier riding horses. Having a horse and carriage made the evening magical. The guests, particularly the young girls, were just tickled. I would work again with them in a heartbeat knowing they take such good care of their horses.
Videography - Addvision
We worked with Shaun and Ryan. They were both very nice and professional. They captured everything we wanted and we barely noticed them at all. We had two dogs in the ceremony and they got great shots of them going down the aisle. DVDs were processed quickly and my whole family was thrilled. They were willing to work within our budget for what we wanted.

Matt and Karen Smith make an awesome team. He has lists for you to fill out prior to the wedding to make sure they capture everything. My wife and I changed between the ceremony and the first dance, and Karen helped me get pinned into my tango dress. The dance was a surprise so we didn't want anyone else to see our tango outfits before we came out. We walked down the aisle at the same time, and they managed to get great shots of both of us. The photos of the two dogs were stunning as well. My whole family loved the pictures and had them up shortly after the wedding. The only issue I had was that we had to wait until 7 months for our album due to various difficulties, but it was definitely worth the wait. Oh, he also knew of neat places at our venue to have photos taken which was a great bonus!
