Pretty sure I just had a heart attack...

About an hour ago, I received an e-mail from our church music director.  She was asking how things were going & letting me know that she would be approving our music selections & our program.

WHAT?!?!

I had it approved by some other lady at the church back in May!

So, I sent her an e-mail explaining all of this to her & also telling her that we just printed & assembled our programs this week, so I'm very concerned that she's now telling me she has to approve them.

She got back to me right away, & said we're all good & that she didn't realize I was working with the other woman.  Which doesn't surprise me, because it seems like they have some communication issues there.  Which is why I cc myself on every email & save everything from them!  = )

Talk about freaking out!  All I could see was all our hard work & money going right out the window!

Ugh... I need a DRINK!!

    I would have freaked out and probally had a small melt down in all honesty!

    Oh my gosh, I'm so glad it worked out!  That would have been awful...  Go have yourself a drink!

    Yikes!!  Our organist wasn't the best at communicating either... but he was also needing to act as interim music director at the time and plan all the liturgical music in addition to all the weddings.  Luckily the church made our programs because he didn't finalize those until the week of the wedding... I woulda been going nuts otherwise!

    I would've had a mild heart attack too, glad it all got settled in the end :-)
