cake/ cupcake centerpieces`

I am thinking about doing individual cakes or cupcakes as the centerpieces for the tables.  Does anyone know of a place with good cakes/ cupcakes that isn't too expensive?  I am looking to serve 200 people and I am on a budget!!

Queen Of Cakes in Edina has great prices from what I have seen.  The cupcakes start at  95 cents a piece

I'm thinking about doing the same thing, but with different flavor cheesecakes from Muddy Paws in St. Paul. Neither FI or I really like cake, but Muddy Paws is om nom nom!

Cupcake in St. Paul has awesome cupcakes. They range in price from $1.95 per cupcake to $2.95 depending on the complexity of the flavor... so not super inexpensive... but better than most wedding cakes.

I'm doing cakes on each table.   We're getting them from Sam's Club and they are about $12/each.  Granted their cakes aren't anything fancy, but they are really good!  They also do cupcakes - those run around $12 for 30.

I posted this exact thing not long ago, but from the research I have done so far Queen of Cakes has the best selection/price for cupcakes. I believe their smaller cakes are reasonable too. I have a tasting/consult with them on the 31st and can post again after.
