A week of love

I am getting married this week!

I decided on Friday night while I was shopping at Target that I would leave my FI love notes all over for the week leading up to our big day. I came across this book called Why I Love You and made little notes of some of the reasons in the book, around 25 of them. I started leaving them on Saturday, 4 a day so far and as the week goes on it wanes down to 3 a day.

I left them everywhere from his sock drawer to his car seat this morning, on his guitar and in his coffee cup and on the toilet seat.

He isn't making a huge deal out of them, he finds them, reads it and gives me a big cheesy grin. I hope it's helping relieve a little stress, it at least makes him smile.

Anyone else thinking about doing something for their FI leading up to your big day?

That's very cute!  I did something similiar for DH one day when he had a very stressful presentation at work.  I even tucked a few in places that he wouldn't see until he got to work (like his wallet, lunch, coat/jeans pocket).  He really liked it and even mentions it once in awhile now.  So I'm sure your FI is loving it too.

Steve had to work New Years Eve (until 3 in the morning!) so I printed out one of my b-pics and wrote a little love note and stuck it in his pocket.  He liked it.

Aw that's adorable! I'm definitely going to have to remember to do something like that! I bet your FI really appreciates the reminder of what your wedding is all about in that last week of stress
