Ahhh Sunburnt and probably going to peel.....HELP!!!!

Well we sure got a nice 4th of July!!! I was out on the St Croix River all weekend and was reapplying my sunscreen all day long. I usually never wear any so this weekend I was extra causious about keeping up on it.

My wedding is in 11 days and my face already has the feel of it going to peel. Any suggestions on how I can get the dead skin off??? I have been reapplying my aloe after sun lotion but know that my hairline and nose are going to definatley peel....im wanting to get rid of this sooner than later cause I dont want to look blotchy on my wedding day!!

Any suggestion would be appreciated!!!

TIA,

Sarah

Honestly - until it peels, I don't know that there is much you can do.  You could try using a scrub with some good exfoliant in it maybe.  I use a Neutrogena one that has some sort of microbead in it that works well and doesn't make me break out (which for having super sensitive skin is saying something!) and it smells pretty good too.

Go and get a facial done - I know my ethstician has products that she uses on my face that work amazingly well and then you wouldn't have to be too afraid of looking blochy if you have a professional do something:)

Lotion as often as you possibly can! I got an awful sunburn on Wednesday, so bad that I was afraid to put real clothes on top of it so I worked from home in a tube top on Thursday. I put lotion on every 45 min or so; I was kind of a greaseball. But I didn't peel at all!

Ditto about using lotion constantly and drink TONS of water. That can help your skin to not to dry out as bad helping you not to peel.
