Bachelorette Party - Pole Dancing Class;)

Hey!  I'm trying to get ideas for my bachelorette party while planning it with my MOH.

I was thinking a pole dancing class would be really fun! then go out afterwards. Has anyone ever been to one? or planned one in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area??  please let me know!  thanks!! :)

I did this as part of a bachelorette party this past spring at a place near the U (I forget the name). It was fun, except that the group was really split as to who wanted to do it and who didn't. I would definitely offer it as an option, as those who are larger (as I am) and pregnant may not be as comfortable with it. But, we still went with and had watching the others attempt it.

We did this for my sister's bachelorette party - it was fun but expensive.  I can't recall the name of the shop but it is on Washington Ave in Mpls.  The thing is a workout - I was super sore the next day.  I think most of us were kinda sweaty bettys afterward so it'd be cool if you maybe had a hotel room you could freshen up in after you were done?

I know Flex Appeal does Bachelorette parties, but their packages are pretty expensive- around $40 per person for the one hour 'class'. They're in DT Mpls.

I did one at Lady Katherine's in Hudson.  http://www.lady-katherine.net/parties.html It was very fun!  Definitely a workout class though.  We chose to do the actual pole class and it was difficult!  Some of the girls actually got kind of upset because they couldn't master it...you may want to remind people that it is just for fun!

If you decide to go this route, check out Groupon for deals. I know I've seen some for pole-dancing classes there before (although I'm not sure that any have been for groups).

Thanks for all of the feedback girls!! :)

I talked to Lady Katherine. haha and she made it sound super fun!

Flex appeal does not exists anymore:( the number from the website is disconnected.

and yes, the idea was to go to the workout party, get a hotel somewhere downtown, then go out at night!

Knockout Bodies by the U does parties. I've never been to a pole dancing class there but I do the Zumba & Kickboxing classes and love it!

I think it would be fun if you have the type of friend group that would be into it. My mom suggested it as an idea for me, and I just didn't think any of my friends would get super into it. But hope you have fun! :)
