Checks! DOC & Guestbook

I haven't had checks in forever it seems!

We booked a DOC, so glad we are doing this. If anyone is looking for a planner or DOC check out Diana Reecy with Exquisite Events Twin Cities http://www.exquisiteeventstwincities.com/

We also received our guest book in the mail today, we made it through Shutterfly and we got it for FREE! Glad I waited until I got that coupon in my inbox! The quality was better than I expected.

Question for ladies who have used photo guest books...what kind of pens did you buy?????

I haven't done it yet, but Sharpie has these new pens (yes, like super fine tip pens) that are awesome for that kind of stuff.  If the photos are printed right on the paper, you shouldn't have to worry about buying archival-quality pens, I don't think?

We found that Sharpies didn't dry quick enough.  I bought some American Slick Writer pens (I think?) from another Knottie; they're available at Archiver's.  They're a super fast drying permanent marker with a semi-fine tip.  It worked great for us!

We used the fine tip sharpies, and they seemed to work fine.  We had a Shutterfly book as well.  Yay for checks!

It just appeared in my inbox one day! I got it about 6 months after I signed up, and I hadn't bought anything, maybe that's why I got the coupon? Either way, it was a great deal! I only paid $8 for shipping!
