Restaurant Reception

Originally, my fiance and I were looking for a simple, rustic, outdoor reception venue, but it seems that almost all of the ones in our price range are booked the days we are available for the ceremony. Our second choice would be a kind of quirky reception venue. We don't want anything that looks like a banquet hall, and we would like the place to have its own charm and character. We thought about a restaurant reception, or even some out of the way museum.

Does anyone know of any restaurants that do receptions?

Thanks in advance for your help! We thought we were on the ball starting right away, but it turns out we really need to get going!

I think the Loring Pasta Bar does them and that is totally unique!

A few favorites that I would personally choose based on cusine and ambiance are Cafe Lurcat, Heartland, W.A. Frost and Forepaugh's. Good luck!

Most restaurants will if they have a separate party/banquet room like Santorini, Mozza Mia, & Loring Pasta Bar.

Any preferable location?

I would check out Jax Cafe in Northeast, Happy Gnome in St Paul, Spill the Wine, Loring Pasta Bar & Cafe Lurcat. Good luck!

Thanks guys! Some of these look good, especially Cafe Lucrat! We looked at the Loring Pasta Bar, but I don't think it will work for our days available.

I guess it doesn't really have to be a restaurant, just a reasonably priced place with some character.
