name change - what order?

I know this has probably been gone over a few times before....

What order do you do all the name change stuff?  We just got our official copy of the marriage certificate.   I believe the first place to go is social security office?  Then probably license?  Do I have to wait until I have the new SS card before doing the drivers license?  Thanks!

    Doesn't matter what order.  I did Drivers License, Social Security, Passport.  You don't need your updated SS card to do  your Drivers License or vice versa so do whatever is most convenient.  For what its worth, I took an afternoon off of work and just went from office to office to get it all done (except the passport part - I did that a little later because I waited until close to the end of its validity before I changed it.)
