Vendor Review - sort of

I was at an event hosted by my law firm tonight and I just had to post about the vendor(s).

First, it was at the Landmark Center. Um, WOW. That place is gorgeous. I expected it to be overwhelmingly large (based on pics I'd seen), but it's REALLY an intimate space, especially if you place the tables between the columns (and not stretching all the way back towards the rear entrance). It looked especially amazing with the candlelight given off by the votive trees. I would suggest that if you're having a wedding at the Landmark Center to have valets, particularly because of St. Paul's tricky parking.

Also, Prom Catering did the event and the food was DELICIOUS! I had a beef dish, kind of like prime rib. Normally, catered prime rib tastes horrible, in my opinion. It's always uber fatty. Not this! It was so wonderful! The catering staff were also amazing - so friendly and attentive. The desserts also rocked - a raspberry and white cake cake and a chocolate ho-ho roll up cake. YUMMY!

I had never experienced either of these vendors before tonight, so I had to share! I was SO impressed.

If our wedding weren't already being held some place else, the Landmark Center would be at the top of my list, even with our small guest list.

We're using Prom catering, and I haven't really seen any reviews on them before, so this makes me feel a lot better, thanks!!
