NWR Grad School = UGH (tonight at least)

So I'm having my own WTF wednesday almost Thursday rant....

I'm in the final leg of grad school for Special Education and tonight I had to write two picture books to use in a classroom setting for ELL students.... I'm so d@*n sick of this piddly BS that each professor makes us do just because we're grad students. I will never use these books in my classroom, but have no fear, I have to do them (and I will....) I'd rather be searching the world of wedding porn (as the FI calls it.)

That's my rant for tonight, not a long one but it made me feel better. Thanks ladies!

    Oh hunny....as a grad student myself, I totally 100% understand your frustration! UGH is all I have to say to all of it!!

    ali: I COMPLETELY understand your frustration!  I got my masters in science ed and was so tired of all the loops to jump through!  It was frustrating to spend a ton of time on all the teaching stuff/assessments/etc. that I pretty much won't use in my classroom.  Even with my master's thesis research, I don't feel like my findings will be used in my classroom.  I feel for you in SpEd--you guys have so much to do!  Anyway, just know that your master's program WILL come to an end, and you WILL be glad you did it!  :-)
