Minnesota-Minneapolis and St. Paul

iPad

Hey There!  I am starting to get a handle on all of the things that need to be done planning wise and in September we are going to Minnesota to really start the process (Venue/Dresses/Engagement Pictures/Etc.).  I am trying to keep everything organized on my iPad since I justified purchasing this iPad in March to better organize my life.  Does anyone have any good iPad apps for wedding things?

TIA

we recently purchased an iPad - as part of our wedding "needs" under The category of "DJ" ha ha! I don't have any suggestions for apps but Google docs has been awesome for our organization. Especially the file sharing and mobile accessibility. There are other non-online word processors / spreadsheet stuff out there for iPad as well that can help as well. I found this link useful ( video is long but informative) http://www.zdnet.com/blog/mobile-gadgeteer/ipad-office-app-showdown-four-apps-to-help-you-get-work-done/3445

I've loved having my iPad, especially early on in the planning process.  I put my inspiration boards/photos on it and was able to convey my ideas easily during vendor meetings.  It was also very easy to take along to wedding shows as well.  Here are my favorite apps:

-Penultimate: a great notebook style app that you can take notes in and create different notebooks for different topics.  I used it during vendor meetings and at wedding fairs to keep notes
-Pulse blog reader:  You can see all of the wedding blog posts as pictures and quickly sort through them for what you want to look at.  Huge time saver for the blog addict like me!

I don't have this app or the new iPad with the camera but there is video guestbook you can set up on it for your reception.  I think it could be kind of fun.  (http://www.thrilledforyou.com/)

hm. I typed this and it disappeared- sorry if it double posts!

If you want something to keep all your ideas/inspiration organized I'd seriously recommend Pinterest.  it's fantastic.  You can click the little red 'p' in my signature to see it; let me know if you want an invite! (or anyone else)

I know they have an iphone app, so they probably have an ipad app too. If not, you can always view it as a mobile site.

<div>Ditto on Pinterest.  I so wish this had been around when I first started collecting inspiration photos.  Warning, also very addicting!</div>
