Boudoir Pics and Photo Books

Did anyone who had boudoir pictures done make an online photo book? If so, what website would you reccomend?

My husband is currently deployed in Iraq, and it sounds like he's going to be able to come home on leave around our first anniversary in June, so I wanted to do something extra special for his present. I'm going up to Sugar and Spice Photography in March to get my photos done, but their books cost like $300.00, so I'd rather buy the CD and the rights to the pictures and just do it myself. Any tips from anyone who has had them done are also greatly appreciated!!

Thanks ladies!

Many ladies on here use mixbook or shutterfly. There are many others but I hear those two a lot. I am doing the same thing you are talking about since I went to sugar and spice as well! I'm going with mixbook. My mom made an anniversary book on it once and it turned out great!

What was your opinon of S&S? Is it worth the extra money?

Thanks! That's good to hear, I'm kind of a shy person, so I'm a little nervous about it, but I think it'll totally be worth it!!

I haven't done b-pics, yet, but I have done a few photo books using Picaboo.  Definitely recommend them :)

Brianne- I used Sugar and Spice and was really put off by the $300 price tag. While you are getting your hair done- ask to look at their books - they have them sitting on a table. They are pretty but IMO not worth $300. What you get for $300 is them placing, editing the photos and putting them in a order they think flows well. They are great but expensive. I purchased a CD of my images for $50 and made a book on Mixbook.
I have used both Mixbook and Picaboo and I liked the extra affects with Mixbook a little better--- you can add frames and stamps (like photoshop) its time consuming and they just had a groupon so you could have saved some $$

You are going to love S&S they have a few camo outfits that could be nice for FI. My FI is in the Air Force and I used his United States Air Force Academy paintball jersey and he about died! :) PM me if you have any specific questions

I just did Bpics and am ordering an album from shutterfly with a $20 coupon I got after we registered with Target. I also bought the Mixbook deal last week, but haven't looked at the site yet.

I've tried out a ton of photobook websites and my favorite is Picaboo because its layout options are the most versatile and the quality is great.

It's kind of expensive, but you can usually find really good coupon codes at Retailmenot.com.

I used Cadence Cornelius for my b-photos! Also - I got a mini book that is bound with a clear spiral and also has thick clear/cloudy plastic cover and back cover. It was only $14 for 45 photos! I did it through Snapfish! I just gave it to my FI for valentines day.

One thing to consider - is where will he keep it/does he travel? I liked having a smaller book that was high-quality where he could easily hide it and bring it with him places. :)

    :)

I love Mixbook for making albums, they have some really cute layouts - but now that I am getting better and more creative at making them, I might try Picaboo like Debbie suggested!!
