What the huh???

Context: FI and I asked his cousin, who is 10, to help pass out programs and help out with the guest book signing for part of the cocktail hour.

Today, I received the following email from FI's aunt:

Debbie,

We are thinking about [FI's cousin's] dress.

I don't want her to "match" the bridesmaids, so that isn't the intent here.

What are your wedding colors -- if we find something that she likes in some combination of those colors, it might look good -- or we may avoid it altogether.  Your thoughts?

So, I'm going to be really nerdy -- what are the RGB values for each of your colors (if you know).

Thanks,

[FI's Aunt]

So, err, does anyone know how the heck I determine what the RGB colors of our wedding are? How weird is that?!

haha. I only know the RGB values of our colors, because I originally designed our STDs in Photoshop!  Otherwise, yeah, no clue.

If you can at least get a "chocolate" instead of "brown" or "cerulean" instead of "blue", that should be good enough. I'd hope so at least....  maybe direct her to the website/colors of the BM dresses so she can get a better idea?

Ditto Steph, but I just wanted to say I LOLed at this! Too cute that she's so excited about her daughter being involved, though!

    It is pretty cute, haha.

And to be fair, she's well aware that we both do some graphic design and would even know what she was talking about.

Steph - that's exactly what we did since we designed our invites and STDs in photoshop, too ... but if she's looking for the RGB version of the BM dresses? Yeah, don't have that. :)

I have no idea what RGB means.  So you get a big "HUH?" from me as well.  LOL.

that's cute! FI's sisters/mom wanted to coordinate - not matchy-match - with the wedding colors, too, so I know what she means there.  When you're dress shopping, there are so many shades of colors that "turquoise" mean a lot of things, and "Bright Blue, not navy, not royal" or "caribbean blue turquoise, not teal" can be confusing.  At least that's what I heard.
Just send her the link to the Bm dresses or a scan of a color swatch (paper goods/decor). :)
