Minnesota-Minneapolis and St. Paul

Louise distance?

Approximately how long does it take to get from 394/100 to Louise's house?

I need to start alterations and am trying to determine if I want to just pay a few more dollors to be closer to my house than driver to her.

Also, has anyone used 'Said Sew by V' for alterations?

I'm having a mini freak out....

Louise is just off of 94 on the Maplewood/St. Paul border...so probably 20-25 minutes without traffic:)

She's kind of behind the Sun Ray strip mall, if that gives you a reference.  I found her prices to be incredibly reasonable, and would more than make up for a little extra driving.  Plus, she's just always so excited to see you.  It makes you feel like a princess.

Definitely 20-25 mins. Compared to how much my sister and best friend paid for their alterations because they just wanted to do it by their houses, and what they would have paid, it would be worth the drive, and as Heather said, Louise is so dang personable and so excited to see you everytime. Can't get that kind of service anywhere I imagine.

Yep the girls have the distance right. I also wanted to throw it out there that I come from the 494/394 intersection so just a bit farther than you and I think it is totally worth the drive.

I drive from the Blaine area to see her and it's well worth the extra driving!!  And by the time I'm done, I'll have made 5 trips there but she is so talented and does make you feel like a princess!

Louise is one of the best decisions I made...I needed a good amount of work done...a hem, bustle, taken both in and out in certain areas and reception straps & pocket squares made.  My dress has a ton of beading too, so it requires a little more time to do the alterations but It should end up costing me around $200 or so for everything.  One of my friends paid $500 for just a hem, slight take in at the top and a bustle at the Wedding Shoppe!!  I think I read the most Louise would ever charge is like $250-$275ish.  And you get a 10% discount if you pay cash.
