Like others, I've been lurking on here for a little while...  I was recently engaged over Christmas and will be getting married May 28, 2011!  My fiance is still in school for a second degree (Mech Eng) and I work at an architecture firm in downtown Minneapolis.  Due to my lower income right now (lovely economy) and my fiance being a student, we're on a budget!  And I'll be eating a lot of ramen for the next 15 months.  We've been dating about 3 1/2 years and are looking forward to the future :)

Reception @ Columbia Manor
Dress is bought :)
Floral, decor and stuff w/ Festivities (since I work part time there...)
Pondering photographers and caterers...

That's all I need to do, right???    :)

Looking forward to chatting with all of you and I'm already overwhelmed with all the amazing advice throughout all of your threads!

    @MoriaMN... Definitely agree about Erin and Jennifer!  I kinda enjoy my weekend job there more than my day job sometimes...

    @Clare13... I'm also excited to get married at the Cathedral!  My fiance and I have been pretty involved in the young adult group there and love the parish.  When we talked with Deacon Jim... it was amazing to discover that almost all the 2:00 Wedding Mass times were taken in May and June 2011 except Memorial Day weekend...crazy!

    I probably should just sit back and relax for a few months since those big things are taken care of :)  Good advice, polichick!
