Wedding Consignment Shop?

I found a great wedding consignment shop in Burnsville called Bride to be Consignment. Has anyone else found any great ones in the twin cities? Or any other resources besides craiglist?

The brides here on the local forum sell stuff from their weddings, too!  Check out the "for sale" sticky at the top of the main page.  I went to the consignment shop in Burnsville the week before my wedding in an attempt to find some candy jars for a candy bar and they were cleaned out!  Their prices weren't as great as I was hoping for that particular item type... it might be hit or miss depending on when you go.  I ended up purchasing a bunch of lidded jars from Target instead.  I didn't look at the other items that they had... but there were a ton of vases and such!

My mom found two dresses at that shop for the wedding. I also got lily bowls for my center pieces. I also did not feel  their prices on most glassware was that great. The lily bowls I had been pricing out for quite awhile and they were about $2 less per bowl than I had found anywhere online. But I was at the time thinking of doing some other mixed center pieces but the other glassware they had was not at as good of a price. I have not heard of any other shops like that though...

the Brides Against Breast Cancer event is a really great event as well, they take designers' leftover dresses and consigned dresses and accessories. I got my veil at one for $30.

Looks like you are from Omaha?  I was living there while planning my wedding here in the Twin Cities.  I ended up finding my dress at a consignment shop in Sioux Falls (about 2.5 hr drive from Omaha) I believe it was called I Do Too.  They had a great selection of dresses - quite a few around $100, which was what I paid for mine.  Mine was brand new, never worn, just a previous years style that a bridal store wasn't able to order anymore....so they passed it on to the consignment store.  I can't remember if they had other items like glasswear - but they did have shoes, veils & accessories.

As for your question about shops here in the Twin Cities... I am not aware of any others...
