Any venue ideas?

I"m looking for a reception venue in Minnesota, I'm not extremely pick on where.  I'd like it to be rustic, a barn or big old building of some sort and ideally somewhere that we can bring in our own food and alcohol.  ANY ideas are greatly appreciated!!

If you click the link on the left that says "Local Wedding Boards" you'll find your local board there. Those ladies will help you find vendors in your area, in your budget.

<div>Indeed, happy to answer any questions you might have.  Another good barn to look at would be Gale Woods Farm (<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.threeriversparks.org/parks/gale-woods-farm.aspx)">http://www.threeriversparks.org/parks/gale-woods-farm.aspx)</a>.  </div><div>
</div><div>For older buildings with flexible catering I would check out the Day Block Building in downtown Mpls (<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.receptionhallminneapolis.com/)">http://www.receptionhallminneapolis.com/)</a> and the Washington County Courthouse in Stillwater (<span style="color:#000000;font-family:Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;line-height:normal;font-size:13px;-webkit-border-horizontal-spacing:2px;-webkit-border-vertical-spacing:2px;" class="Apple-style-span"><a href="http://tinyurl.com/4khzbj)" rel='nofollow'>http://tinyurl.com/4khzbj)</a></span></div><div> </div><div>A few words of advice on these types of venues.  Make sure you know accurate costs of renting tables/chairs/tents if you will need them, the costs add up FAST!  HTH. </div>

If you change your mind about bringing in your own food, check out the Earle Brown Center.  It does have the "rustic" look but with the modern ammenities.

I got married at The Little Log House at Pioneer Village (Hastings). You can check out my bio (link in my signature) for pictures, or you can email me at debra.pelzmann at gmail.com if you want a spreadsheet I made of a ton of places that fell under the "rustic-chic" description (some more rustic than others, haha).

We LOVED the Little Log House. Working with them was wonderful, prices are very reasonable, and it's beautiful out there. And the Village Hall rocks! HTH!
