Outdoor ceremony suggestions?

Any suggestions for an outdoor ceremony location? We're looking for a park setting in Minneapolis or St. Paul that is more natural than manicured. So, not the Rose Garden or Walker. A natural setting more woodsy, but in the city. Thanks

Black Bear Crossings at Como Park is really pretty, though I think the woodsy, outdoor space would be better for pics rather than trying to arrange all your guests there to watch the ceremony. But their ceremony space is really nice - pretty large and covered to protect from harsh sun or light sprinkles, but completely open-air.

Otherwise, there's this really cool spot in the Woodlake Nature Preserve in Richfield. It's easy to get to, and there's kind of bleacher-type benches built in. I have no idea if they can block off/rent this particular spot, but I've seen them do kids parties in the building, so maybe that could be arranged.

It's not in Minneapolis or St. Paul, but you might check out the MN Landscape Arboretum. I was certain I wanted an outdoor ceremony in the cities until I saw the Arboretum. It was so beautiful I changed my mind and figured it was worth the drive.

You could always try a colf course or country club. Im having my outdoor ceremony at The Wilds Golf Club, its not in "the city" it's in Prior Lake, but you could check it out! Good luck!

Maybe check out Trellis Events in (western) Stillwater www.trellisevents.com
I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but I LOVE it. It's manicured in the fact that it's gardens, but it's still very natural looking, if that makes any sense...

We are getting married at Millennium Gardens in Plymouth. Depending on your timing you might still be able to get in, but they book up fast so be sure to check it out early.

I have had a fairly good experience with them, but I would caution to clarify all details of what is and is not included in their base fee.

    Good Luck!
