Videographer question

I have been looking at the websites of various Twin Cities videographers (I like the videos done by Highlights Video (www.highlightsvideography.com)and/">http://www.highlightsvideography.com)and Capture the Moment (http://ctmoments.com/wp/?page_id=2) )and they all feature short "music videos" of the couple, different scenes from the wedding pieced together.

My question is, is that all a professional videographer gives you or do you get raw footage as well?  I'd like to have a copy of my ceremony beginning to end, and footage of all the dumb toasts and all that too.

I am going with Highlights Videography and the package I got includes all that.  They just show on their website the nice music video of your wedding.  I was told I will get the whole ceremony and all the important stuff @ the reception (grand march, speeches, cake cutting, etc.).  These are very good questions to ask the videographer when you have a consultation.

Ours is doing a short feature film like those music videos and then we will get a longer version on the DVD along with a full video of the ceremony. He also will be doing extras like our first dance and bloopers kind of stuff... We used Merecinema out of Duluth. But we got married in Two Harbors so it there wasn't travel involved.

Capture the Moments gives you all raw footage for $50! That's what we ordered, He also said the video scence collection is I believe 3 hours long, maybe less.

He does the WHOLE DAY though! Which I found amazing. from the moment we start getting ready til the end of the night he will stay!! and I just have to say he is so nice! Definitely meet with him!
