DIY Custom Wedding Hanger - PIP!

I posted this on my club board but thought your crafty MN ladies might want to see it too!
There is a bit of a craze for those custom wedding hangers from Etsy on my club board and I kept looking at them and decided I really wanted one but didnt want to pay the $30 price tag. So I made my own!

I bought 12 gauge wire from Michaels and went with a bronze colored wire (they had a ton of wire color options). I had a coupon but in total the entire project cost me $1.60.

Jessica - no it really was not that hard to do at all. I just copied the same design the etsy seller used and did most of it with my hands and a little with needle noise pliers. It took about 45 min to finish the whole thing.

This is adorable! I just saw that wire at Micheals today and wondered what it could be used for...guess I know now. For that price I might give it a shot (if you don't mind ) just for the cute picture opportunity. I hope it would turn out at nice as yours.

Danielle, I was going to suggest the DIY GTG for these hangers, great idea! I decided (if I can be crafty like you) that I'm going to make them for my BMs and moms as well as myself

Yea I am in! I kinda want to make them for my BMs now...to bad I have 7 I would make for and 9 if I included PAs or even 11 if I included moms and then 12 if I made one for the FG...this could get out of hand quickly .
