Well, mine isn't so great on the not-too fatty part, but it's REALLY GOOD!!  = )
This is my favorite chicken & wild rice recipie now!

    Chicken & Wild Rice “Soup”Ingredients:
1 pound of bacon OR 1 pound of pre-cooked bacon bits
2 13 oz. cans of chicken
2 small cans of cream of potato soup (10 ¾ oz.)
    2 cans of water
1 small container of original Half & Half
1 container of Cheeze Wiz (15 oz.)
2 boxes Uncle Ben’s Wild Rice (6 cups total)

Cook time – About 1 hour

    Cook bacon
In a large pot prepare rice as according to directions on box.  Don’t add seasoning, (if provided)
Pull apart bacon to desired size
When rice is finished, add all remaining ingredients.
In a crock pot set temperature at medium-high to high.  Stir occasionally.
Let set on low heat for a few minutes for a thicker soup, otherwise it’s ready to eat!

    Enjoy!
And leftovers taste really good warmed up!!

I don't have a recipe for wild rice soup, but I just wanted to say that I'm actually excited to pay attention to the Tasty Thursday posts now. I've never really cooked before, but I took a class through the Cooks of Crocus Hill earlier this month, and I found out that I actually kinda like cooking!

I made a pot roast last night for the first time, and it was AWESOME! Really, it was the first real chunk of meat that I've ever made by myself, so I was pretty d@mn excited that it was good!
