Show me your invitation fonts...

I am doing DIY invitations, and I am wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for fonts--I want something scripty for names and titles, and something classy (easily legible) for all the information.

Anybody have suggestions? Feel free to post pictures of your invites--new inspiration is always good.

Thanks!

Check out dafont.com.  They have all kinds of free fonts.  We used "Heather" from there.

    Ditto dafont!
I used Chopin Script (fancy/titles) and Byington (text)

We used Windsong for names and an Adobe serif font (forget which one) for the rest of the copy.  I really wanted to use Carpenter (what's in The Knot's old black and white wedding website template), but it was a little too hard to read.

I used Scriptina for the scripty font, and Times New Roman (in all caps) for the other font.  PIB.

Ditto ditto dafont! Just click on the "calligraphy" category. You can type your sample text into a box and it shows you how it would look with dozens of fonts.

We used the typewriter font AFL for our return address stamp, Nashville for our text, and I'm using Satisfaction for my new tattoo :)

This may be a really dumb question - but how do I use the fonts from dafont?  I downloaded it, but now what???

Thanks so much for the help, everyone! I had been searching around on dafont before I posted this, but it's nice to get some names I can search--there are thousands on there! I downloaded all the ones you suggested so I could play around with them a bit.

Jim&Aim--love your invites--I'm doing pockets too... I just hope they turn out as well as yours did.

Jen--your save the dates are so cute! What a great idea.
