Familiar w/ Common Roots catering?

We're considering using common roots as our caterer because the restaurant is a special place to us. I know that they do large scale catering frequently and have done many weddings, but I am having a hard rime finding reviews. I found one that was a glowing review, but no luck otherwise. Has anyone been to an event/wedding that used them? Or did anyone else consider using them for their own wedding? What were your impressions? Thanks! :)

My FI and I looked at Common Roots for the same reason- sentimental attachment and also because we are very passionate about their food ethics.  Andrea is a pleasure to work with and helped me widdle our proposal down to make it cheaper about 5 times.  In the end, we decided that it would be way out of our budget for very small portions of food.  If you aren't pinching pennies like we are, I would HIGHLY recommend it.  I know that they have a special catering Summer Celebration at Old Arizona this Thursday.  I'd recommend contacting catering to get an invite- you'll be able to sample a lot of their food that way.  Best of luck!

Thanks so much for the input! We're considering them for our appetizer reception, so the food portions should be a problem. I'm really liking them so far :) We have it narrowed down to Deco catering, Common Roots, and Catering by Dani. We actually are already going to the thing tonight at Old Arizona, so I'm hoping that goes well! Thanks again for the input!

We use them occasionally for my job, and they've always done a fantastic job.  People seem to really enjoy the food as well.
