Ok this board is ridiculously slow so here is a fun poll that I thought I would post

1- Are you going to have have a photobooth?

2- Are you giong to have a wedding cake, cup cakes, or different desserts?

3- Are you doing boudoir pics?

5-When do you plan on having kids? If at all? And how many?

1- Yes, our photographer offers a photo booth that we will be using.

2- Haven't decided, Our reception site offers mini cheesecakes for about the same price as we would pay for a wedding cake, so mini turtle cheese cake sounds pretty tempting

3- Already did boudoir pics, and would love to do them again!

4- We are probably going to do one since we aren't seeing each other before I walk down the aisle. Nothing too dirty though!

5- We are planning on having 3-4 kids starting in about 3-5 years, whenever it feels right for us!

Wedding cake - lemon cake with lemon curd and cream cheese frosting - yum!

Possibly, if any photogs offer summer boudoir sessions.

No - I love seeing the TTD sessions of other couples, but I think the day of will be enough for us.

5-When do you plan on having kids? If at all? And how many?

We're marrying in October and going on a European honeymoon the following spring, so we'll probably start trying on the honeymoon. I'll be 32 by then, so we need to get started somewhat soon. We'd like two children, maybe three.

No we did not

We had a delicious wedding cake, top tier was white cake amarretto mousse filling and the bottom tier was chocolate with baileys mousee. All I got a chance to eat the day of was what he fed me.

3- Are you doing boudoir pics?
I did, and HE LOVED THEM!!! I had the book on our bed for when we got home the night of the wedding, told him he could come into the room and I said "I am your present." He gave me a hug and a kiss and then could see the book behind me on the bed. He sat down and SLOWLY flipped through the book, and his smile got bigger and bigger with every page turn.

4- Are you doing a trash the dress session?
We are doing a rock the dress session, or something similar this summer to offset our winter pics. I haven't really thought much about it, but am excited to get more pics. I love doing photo sessions. Although, by the end of our wedding day I was ready to be done with pics. Our usher at the Wild game kept coming to us wanting to take our pics with my sister's camera. Really nice of her, but I was ready to just enjoy ourselves and watch the game and have a few beers. LOL

5-When do you plan on having kids? If at all? And how many?
1-2 in 2-3 years. I think I am changing my career/school plans a little bit so we can bump up the baby making to a little sooner.

No, we're having our photographer for the full day and will be seeing each other before hand so I'm thinking we'll get plenty of pictures day of

We're not planning on taking our honeymoon to Italy til around our 1st anniversary so we'll probably start trying then. As soon as I'm done with school I'm ready to bring on the kids!

Cake! But just for use to cut. The rest of the guests get tiramisu as well as cheesecake.

Yes! I did them with Candace in her marathon session this past Jan but am thinking I want more - it was so much fun the first time!

4- Are you doing a trash the dress session?
No - I feel like I will have enough pictures of me in my dress from the wedding.

5-When do you plan on having kids? If at all? And how many?
Not for at least 2 years after the wedding. I want 2, Joe wants tons....we'll see

I'm bummed to hear so many ladies say the photobooth is too expensive.  We made ours for about $150, with props, and then just set up a digital camera on a tripod.  Our guests had so much fun taking pictures, especially the kids.  It really kept the kids out of trouble and entertained.  They must have taken over 200 photos and are still talking about it. 

You could even use a simple white backdrop with a camera and tripod (Microcenter has some cheap tripods).  I'm sure your guests would have fun.

Never....I plan on adopting lots of kitties and puppies   Also, I am teacher to 232 wonderful adolecent children.  I just saw something on Oprah on nuns-she was asking them if they missed having children and I thought this fit me so well: "God (or whomever) physically made women to have children, but sometimes it is better to just be able to give your love to other children-especially those who don't receive it at home.  I definitely feel this way.  I could not do my job effectively and be a parent- and vice versa.

1- Yes, during the ceremony one of the photographers will be doing a photobooth area while the other is taking reception pictures.

2- Smaller 2-tiered cake and also an ice cream sundae bar!

3- Already did boudoir pics, and would love to do them again! I gave the book to Steve for Christmas, he was a fan.

4- Hopefully.  I love pictures!

5- We are both in the "I'm not sure if I want kids...but maybe sometime in the future..." boat.  No immediate plans for sure!

The boudoir photos scare me!  Any advice??? I think my fiance would like it, I am just nervous!

Alliqtpie84- I was really nervous for the boudoir pics as well but at the same time it was a ton of fun to shop for outfits and look around on the web at photo ideas and poses!

Things that calmed me at the photo shoot:
-Having a glass....or two of champagne before I started
-Having a mirror to look in while the photographer was adjusting lighting and camera (this helped a TON)
-Having a photographer that is comforting and reassuring that you look hot
-Just knowing that my future hubby would love them.

Overall, I loved the shoot and want to do another one, I really got a lot out of it. I had my make up done for it, you really feel like a model for a day!

I am not sure.  I would like to, but I'm not sure I can justify the cost.

We are leaning towards cheesecake.

I think my fiance would love it!  But I am too chicken right now.

As soon as we are married we will stop trying to NOT have kids.  

I am hoping for 2 but we are both older (35 and 41) so I will honestly

FI would love to have 10 kids by tomorrow.... I'd rather wait at least a year or two to enjoy married life.  We'll probably just see what happens.  We'll probably end up with 2-3 in the next few years.

We will have a 6 inch round (red velvet) for us to cut, and cupcakes (chocolate and vanilla) for the guests!

I dont think so, but you never know....I would, but FI wouldnt, he would think its a waste of the day!
