I'm back, married, and loving it!

Well I am married!!! I survived the wedding and as much fun as I had planning and celebrating, I am relieved it’s over and so excited to be married!! Here is the run down of my weekend… (warning this is long!)

Thurs: Worked a half day and had to drop off all the decorations off at Stonebrooke.  After that I was able to relax the rest of the afternoon with MIL and one of my BMs by getting our manicure/pedicures.  After we finished at the nail salon, MIL had set up a massage for me, which was completely wonderful.
I spent the rest of the night hanging out with my dad going to Canterbury for some races and then BWW for a late night dinner.

Friday:
Woke up fairly early and got all my packing for the weekend done.  I am happy to say I did not leave anything up at my dad’s house that I needed for the rest of the weekend, which I was really worried about.
Got a last minute tan in that morning and ran a few errands picking up the last odds and ends I needed.  Had my usual hair stylist do my hair for the rehearsal dinner (which was just a nice way to relax for one last half hour before the madness began).

        Finally headed down to
MIL/FILs home where me and a few of the BMs were staying that night and where the rehearsal dinner was held.  Rehearsal was quick and I felt like I didn’t really pay attention to anything that I was supposed to do for the next day lol oops.  The dinner was a lot of fun and Tory’s family did an amazing job decorating, setting up and cooking for the event.  It was tiki/beach/Hawaiian themed and it was a lot of fun!!

Saturday:
Woke up around 6:45 (had hoped to sleep a bit later since my hair and make up wasn’t until 8:30) Smart & Chic stylists showed up right on time for the first round of girls to get ready at 7:30. They were awesome and everyone looked great!  I loved my hair and my make up was perfect…exactly how I wanted it and how it would have looked (except obviously way better) if I would have done it.  My make up and lashes looked awesome all day and I did not have to retouch at all!

We headed to the church around
11am which is conviently enough when it started to rain…and rain, and rain, and rain. L Rained all day until probably a half hour before the ceremony so I got ZERO outside shots…all of our photos were in the church which I am bummed about.  But it probably ended up making the day easier, not having to worry about running around to different locations for pictures.  My photog was great and kept us on schedule (even ahead of) for pictures and I am pretty sure we got everything I was looking for!

The ceremony went well, Tory was a freakin sweaty mess during it, just had sweat DRIPPING down his face.
I felt bad for the kid!  I didn’t think he was going to pass out or anything, I just knew he was super warm.

After the ceremony we boarded the 28 passenger party bus limo we had and made the hour trek up to the reception site.
The party bus was my favorite thing we did, we had SO much fun with our wedding party on there and we thought it was totally worth every penny.

We were able to get some outside pics at Stonebrooke which I was so happy for and they have such a beautiful setting.
Dinner was delicious and we had a great time doing trivia for the clinking of the glasses.  The decorations were a MILLION times better than what I had even imagined.  I knew it was going to look good but it exceeded all of my expectations.  My
DOC Maria and the Stonebrooke crew did an amazing job. The dance got off to a slow start, many guests were out on the deck enjoying the beautiful views but once the music got picked up a notch we were all having a blast!

This was extremely long and I could have gone into much more details, but I’ll spare you
J  We have been enjoying moving in to our new place the last couple of days and we can’t wait for our minimoon to Milwaukee this weekend!
I’ll post a few pics from facebook in another thread to split this up a bit!
