bachelorette party ideas

Got any creative ideas for July?  I'd kind of like to do something that my underage MOH sister can come to for awhile at least..  Bring on the ideas!

Well, your MOH should be planning this (and surprising you!), but here goes.  We also had underage BMs, so we had a "happy hour" at the bar in the Graves, then went to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory, then went to the Imperial Room and then dancing.  It was fun, and my sisters were able to hang out with us for most of the evening even though they were underage.

yeah they're planning it but looking for some different ideas.  I told them I'd ask the knot girls and see what they had to say!

We went to a cabin and cruised on a boat- then some people can drink and some dont have to feel like the only non drinkers in the bar! It was a fun time and low key!

We're doing a cabin weekend! Its more my style to drink and play games with my friends in my pajamas than dance at a club.

I didn't really want to do the whole get wild and crazy bar hopping thing for my bachelorette party so right now my MOH has a tentative plan of renting a pontoon and enjoying some the day on the lake, dressing up for dinner and maybe a bar or two DT later in the night.  Not very creative, but it will allow my girlfriends who don't drink to not be left out.  I entertained the idea of spending the afternoon at a spa or something, but that seemed like it would get pretty expensive.

I wasn't looking for a night out with lots of partying either, so we are meeting for pedicures on a Friday evening at a nail salon and then heading to a nearby Mexican restaurant for dinner and margaritas:)  Plus, since pedicures last a few weeks,  the girls will all have pretty toes for the wedding, which they are excited about!

After going to the Twins game over the weekend....I'm seriously considering having my bach party there!  The outdoor stadium is sooo nice.   You could also do a St. Paul Saints game.  They have tailgaiting right in the parking lot and half the time, I've never even made it into the stadium.   You wouldn't be going to a bar but people can drink if they want and the games are fun for everyone.

I was 20 when it was my sister's Bachelorette party.  I was the MOH, but the other BM's took over on the party planning as I didn't live in the cities nor did I have any idea what to do so I don't think the MOH always needs to plan it.  For my sisters, we had a personal shower at one of the BM's houses starting around 3pm and just had drinks, apps, etc.  Then went out for dinner someplace in Minnetonka (can't remember) then we went to Maynards as I was underage.  From there, the group was going to head to other bars and I was going to part ways, but everyone was having a good time at Maynards so we stayed there.
