Where have you gone to get shellac done? I would like to try it soon- bonus if it is in the Northwest metro!

I did my trial run & will be going for the wedding to Nail Montage in Maple Grove.

They do an amazing job & the salon is really nice!  = )

I go to InStyle Nails in Ramsey... I just got acrylics done recently, but have had their shellac done before.

They do!  They just started offering it a few months ago.  I can't remember how much it is... I did it awhile ago & think I had a coupon!

I would just call & ask them!

Nail Montage in Maple Grove does amazing Axxium manicures. Simonson's also in Maple Grove just got Shellac. They also have Axxium but when I had it done there it didn't hold up as well as Nail Montage's version, they didn't do it as thick so I ended up losing two nails about 2 weeks before my wedding... I was not happy!

They were running a special in July for $20somethings, I think full price is $35. I would call to doube check though :)

One thing about Shellac - I've seen some brides LOVE it... some hate it and it peels off quickly. I will most likely be doing it... but I'm not going the traditional french manicure and am doing color instead (dark purple). Remember if you're doing color - not all salons offer various colors so be sure to check for the shellac!
