Updos? Wedding hair

What do you all think is a reasonable price for wedding day updos?

I'd say anywhere from $50-$100 depending on the 'do and where ya go

Agree with PP. My stylist normally charges $70 in the salon.

Do you think it's crazy to ask bridesmaids to pay 100 if they choose to get their hair done?  My stylist charged about 100, i would certainly pay that for my wedding day and she's willing to do the other girls hair too, if they so choose.  Do you think it's bad to say 'hey, i'm getting my hair done, she'll do yours if you want but it's 100?"  one of my BM's said she thinks it's too pricey but that she does WANT to pay to have her hair done.  how much shopping do I need to do on this one?  I'd like to use my regular gal if so.... thoughts?

<div>You can offer to make them appointments, just say "I am getting my hair done at X place, it would cost you $X. Let me know if you would like me to make you an appointment. Otherwise, if you want to make your own arrangements or do your own hair, that is cool too." They will let you know what they are comfortable with.</div>

I'm paying $100 for my hair and makeup (tip included) at a salon in rigdedale.  I think that's an awesome price but I do think $100 is a lot to pay as a bridesmaid.

to shudak1 can you offer to go halfsies on their up-do's as a gift/one of their bridal party gifts (if having this person do their hair is that important)?

I gave them an estimate of the price and asked if they wanted me to make an appointment.   Some did and some didn't.  Sometimes stylists charge less for BMs than for the bride (depending on how complicated your style is).  My sylist charged about $90 for the trial and updo and $35 for BM without a trail.
