Thoughts on the verdict of Casey Anthony??

My thoughts are this... I understand why they couldn't convict her of 1 deg murder, but to drop all charges except lying to investigators?? Uggghh she makes me sick.

Does anybody have any good websites or a summary for me that explains why they didn't find her guilty?

I can't find anything on google that gives me what they say "really" happened.

It definitely makes me sick..

There really aren't any good explinations as to why she wasn't found guilty yet. It will have to wait until the jury is allowed to talk which who knows when that's going to be.

I agree this makes me sick and I cannot stand the thought of a murderer walking free..

The problem, IMO, is that in order to convict her of first deg murder they would have had to prove that she did it without a reasonable doubt. Now, I am not sure how involved you ladies were in this case, but the witnesses, evidence and testimony was ALL over the place, so it makes sense to me why she wasn't charged with 1st deg, but I am appaled they she got off on EVERYTHING other than lying.

*shrug* I guess there was reasonable doubt.

I haven't really been paying attention to it, so I don't know that I really have a strong opinion. But the not guilty verdict is probably the single event that's inspired the most Facebook statuses in my news feed, ever. Nothing to do with Obama, finding bin Laden, bad weather, the gas explosion in South Minneapolis... but this. I thought that was interesting.

My jaw dropped to the floor. I agree, karma is a b*tch. I also hope that it follows that jury around. What is wrong with those people!?

I was and still am speechless about this. To drop everything just seems crazy, and this whole case is crazy.. the jury definitely did the unthinkable.

The jury had a lot of information to process and not that I am defending them but as a human being, it would be difficult to process all of it. They def got this wrong, and I cannot wait for karma to kick in.
