Smith Bros. Loft Catering Question

Hi I'm having a receiption @ the Smith Bros. Loft in September and I'm trying to decide whether to use their in-house catering service, which is Zuppa, or use Cameron Mitchell catering.  Can you girls let me know your experiences?  Thanks!

We are at Smith Bros as well and opted to go with Cameron Mitchell. The initial decision honestly was made based on the fact that Cameron Mitchell was better with communication - Zuppa was slow to get back to me and I was worried that would be an on-going problem. We have had a wonderful experience with Cameron's and I have no absolutely no regrets, but I do know of others who have gone with Zuppa and also been pleased.

My brother and his wife had their reception there and used Zuppa.  Maybe they invited more people than previously stated to the caterer, but I know they went with the meal stations but there just wasn't a lot of food.  They would have a small amount and take forever to come back out, some stations not refilling at all.  I only had the salad and didn't eat so another guest could have some.  It was quite ridiculous.

We had our wedding at the Loft in December and used Zuppa.  Overall, we were very, very pleased with everything.  We did a buffet and had crab cakes, chicken and some type of beef (I don't eat red meat so my husband picked it and I didn't really pay attention).  The crab cakes were DELICIOUS and I heard great things about the beef too.  The only thing that people were lukewarm on was the chicken.  The other thing I would reccomend is really being vocal about what you want...they were so great about accomodating every detail we wanted:  my mom and I changed the type of bread, type of vegetables, etc. and they did not have any problem getting us exactly what we asked for.  We also did a late night snack of pizza and that went over fantastically with our guests.

Do you girls have prices on catering for cameron mitchell? I checked their website and it doesn't list prices, just the food they can do.

We are also looking at the Smith's Brothers loft and my parents got a quote from Cameron Mitchell and they quoted the 11660 (including the bar cost) the total for the food was only 4200, so i don't know if that is how it is every where else but they quoted around 7000 dollars worth of service and linens, i thought a bit much.
