Ahh I work from home but I also don't live in the cities, I kept calling my mom last night asking about the weather. I want the snow to go away! My wedding is to close for snow!!

I am home sick today...it sucks but I'm glad I don't have to go out in this weather!!!!

I am suffering at work.  Boss just called still stuck in massive traffic...she is headed home.  I have NOTHING productive to do at work today besides obsessively check the knot and if my latest CPA exam score is posted.... the anticipation is killing me.

Between wedding and cpa scores I can't focus on anything else.  Seriously making me crazy!

I called in.  My mom & I work at the same building.  She was on her way to work & called me & told me to stay home, because the roads were so bad.  FI went to work in his truck & said he's glad I called in also. 

I'm sure my co-worker is none to pleased with me, but I don't really care!  So I'm researching cookware & vacuums for our registries & working on them online!  = )

I don't have any classes today, they weren't cancelled because of the snow, but I am thankful I don't have to walk in this stuff!

Ditto!! The snow is supposed to be MELTING now not adding up even more!! And it shouldn't take an hour to get to work when you live 5 miles from the office!! GRRRRR should have just stayed home!

I had to go to work; the worst part is I have to do a presentation off site and it wasn't cancelled so I have to go out in this crap again.
LAME-O! The office is quiet though so I can knot in peace.. and I also placed a massive order with vistaprint! hehe all free but $20 in shipping (I think that will tell you how much I got)

Were the roads really that bad everywhere? H and I made it into campus (I work at the U) just fine... and we came from Roseville.  I thought the worst of it was the northern suburbs.  Granted, I avoid the highways on my commute.

Oh this isn't good timing for snow in MN!! I will be flying in on Monday to meet with Vendors & choose a location for our wedding! Hope it goes away before then!!

My commute took just a little bit longer than normal, but the roads in Minneapolis weren't really that bad.  Now a bunch of our patients are canceling their appointments though....at least my morning ones showed up right on time!

I have a snow day today!  However I live in northern metro, wyoming mn.  We have about  1 foot of snow out there!  I coudn't get out of driveway and just gave up.  I wish it would all just go away!!!!!!

I'm at work, but I came thisclose to calling in once I got half a block from my house and I could barely see the stoplight near our corner.  It took me 45 minutes to make a 15-minute trip, and I'm in the Bloomington-to-St. Paul area.  494 was f*cked.

I'm just pissed off because we have a meeting at our reception venue this afternoon and this isn't the first time we've gotten a big dump of snow.  I really hope we don't have to reschedule it.  It's like our GTGs, there's bound to be a snowstorm when we really need there to not be one.

ETA:  meeting cancelled, of course.  Now we have to try to reschedule it for Friday, if she can find time.  I swear, if you're a venue that hosts a lot of receptions and people have to fight for an appointment at a decent hour, you need to have more than 1 person that can take these appointments THAT YOU REQUEST TO HAVE.  This isn't the first time we've had a meeting cancelled due to the coordinator calling in sick, and we're only 2 1/2 weeks out from the wedding day!

I made it to Stillwater from Brooklyn Park in an hour and twenty, not bad...luckliy my appt in Little Falls cancelled.  It's bad, but not that bad.  It is, MN after all...what do you expect!? I'm jealous of Kari_lynn who is on her way to Mexico
