Pricing of Olde Gahanna Sanctuary???

Has anyone, or do you know anyone who knows how much the basic rental fees are for the Olde Gahanna Sanctuary? I am VERY interested in using it as our venue but we are on a pretty tight budget! Thanks ladies!

Go check it out tomorrow night! They have an open house from 6:30-8:30 only on thursday, I don't remember how much it costs but it was around 1000 for the day of. 

You could also look into the Big room on front st or swim and racquet club both very budget friendly.

I think it is $895 for all day on a Saturday...if I remember right?

We had our wedding there last September and I'm not sure if it's changed at all but it is $975 for the whole day (you can get in at about 7 or 8 am on Saturday morning, and you have it until midnight but they won't kick you out if you go a little over trust me). Half is due when you submit the contract and reserve your date, and the other half is due 30 days before your wedding.

You can bring in any caterer (or make your own food) and your own alcohol without any restrictions, which saves a ton of money. We had two acquaintences who used to be bartenders offer to work for tips at our wedding (they just got engaged and were trying to save up for their own wedding) - so when I say no restrictions I mean absolutely none.

The only other cost is another couple hundred if you want to reserve the night before to set up (we didn't - not worth it) and $150 check that serves as a clean up charge, which they only cash if you damage something or didn't take out the trash.

The only problem with working with them is that they do pretty much nothing - we had to measure the tables, count the chairs, find where they were stacked throughout the building, etc. because they didn't know any of this when we asked. Otherwise it was great cause we got to do whatever we wanted and saved some money doing it.

I want this place sooo bad! Hopefully we can come up with the deposit money soon! The majority of our budget is going to be our tax return so I wont be able to start buying things until then...but im hoping to come up with the deposit before that! We had planned a september date but im thinking i love this place so much i would be flexible! Ahhh fingers crossed! I hadnt found a venue id loved til this one! I love how much freedom there is! And its plain so it wont clash with our colors!
