Are any of the rooms at franklin park conservatory air conditioned?

Research made me think the grand room was available for receptions and that it was air conditioned but now most reviews only talk about how the palms room was hot. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I went this Fall to look at it and the humidity was off the charts. I actually wasn't a fan of the place at all for a wedding. The floor plan didn't flow well in the Grand Atrium and the one rooftop garden overlooked the loading dock area. And, their alcohol estimate for 100 guests was $5k!  I am sure it is quite lovely when it's all put together, but in the end it just wasn't the place for us.

I went to a July wedding there and, honestly, I was miserable.  Its a gorgeous venue, but the biggest thing i remeber about the wedding was sitting there sweating.

They did have some a/c units blowing, but i dont think they started them until just before the ceremony and they didnt start to catch up until dinner was served.

I believe only the largest room at FPC is air conditioned.  The palm house is not and it is HOT (like a greenhouse, which is basically what it is)!  Super gorgeous though!  Good luck!

I have no idea how much it costs, but I went to a wedding where they held the cocktail hour in the Palm House, then dinner and dancing in the Atrium.  I thought it was wonderful (they really get the Atrium gorgeous, even though it doesn't look like much when its not set up for a reception).   But yea, it gets really warm in the Palm House.

Just booked the Palm House/Grand Terrace for my ceremony and reception.  I'm getting married on May 19, but hopefully it wont be hot as Satan's lair late in the evening, plus we have the terrace.  Anyway, the Palm House is actually the only non-air conditioned room - there's also the Veridian/Grove/Brides Garden combo and the Grand Atrium/Zen Garden.

I dont know how much it'd cost to do the Palm House and the Atrium since they're not technically combined, but if you pay for both spaces it ain't cheap!!!  ha

Drop a note if you have any questions, I'm happy to help!
