I'm a nosey person, so if no one else has any questions, I'm sure I can think of a few.

How about this:

Did you or will you have sex on your wedding night?

I'll go first- I bet we won't!! Probably hop in the jacuzzi for a bit and then pass out, knowing us!

Yes we will...we are going to hold off before the wedding for around 3 months from doing anything so that on our wedding night we will for sure want too.  We don't want our wedding night to just be 'another night' so we decided to stop beforehand for a couple months (or 3).  Our priest had suggested it (yes weird that he talks about it).  I think it will be nice so that our wedding night will be special somewhat.

Pretty sure Tory is expecting it but I feel like I will be absolutely exhausted and probably feel gross haha.  We also will have a jaccuzzi and getting in that will probably make me even more tired.  Wow I sound like an old woman

Hmm good question, I don't really know! I have a feeling we will be really tired but most of the time that doesn't sway my FI, lol. We'll see I guess! Probably we will though, if I know FI well enough.

We didn't, for a few reasons.  First, mother nature was kind enough to give me my TOM the morning of the wedding. awesome, right? Also... I was up the night before the wedding with (what I think was) food poisoning.  Most definitely fell asleep at 11 when everyone finally left our hotel suite.  (The wedding was over around 6, but our family came to hang out and watch football and open presents with us.)

That being said... it wasn't a big deal. We'd been dating 6 years, and sleeping together most of them

I'm hoping we will. I may have my monthly friend if this spotting doesn't clear up- LAME! but FI gets frisky when he drinks so if I don't then there shouldn't be anything holding us back LoL

Wow are you serious??  Talk about bad timing for both!!  Was it horrible to have to (tmi q) change your tamon or pad in your wedding dress??   My period is due on my wedding day so my OB put me on b/c pills temporarily so that I can change my cycle and make AF come like 2 weeks before the wedding.  I was mostly worried about trying to take care of my period while I am wearing a huge poofy white dress that I can't even pee in w/o difficulty.  But then I also didn't want it for the HM  :/

<div>yeah... so I've been on the pill for like 9 years.  I went off the week before the wedding, because I figured I was 'safe' just in case something happened.  H and I are most definitely not TTC yet, but if I did get KU, it'd be fine, ya know?  But I've been having horrible migraines, so my doctor made me go off BCP.  She refused to renew my prescription.  No big deal, since I had my period THE WEEK BEFORE the wedding, right? wrong. I don't know how that happened.  I remember running and changing my tampon at like 11 before I put on my dress to take pictures, etc.  I didn't go to the bathroom again until 5ish when it was all over (we just did a noon ceremony and lunch reception.)  My dress was super simple, so I actually just took it off to go to the bathroom. haha. Just a simple zipper in back.  I just stepped out of it, went to the bathroom, and then put it back on. </div>

I hope we do!!! We are leaving on our honeymoon in the morning!! Awwww!!!! Our flight is at 7am, so we have to be at the airport at like 5am! Our reception is probably going to go until 1am or 2am, so we have 3 hours... I know we'll be exhausted, but we dont really want to sleep for a couple hours, I feel like that would make us more tired! but then again... we thought why would we pay for a hotel room for only 3 hours! So, we haven't decided that yet! I guess... if we find somewhere to go... we will do it! Ha ha ha!  What would you guys do in my situation? 

On another note... my fiance has this idea that after the ceremony, before the reception, we'll do it! haha! I told him thats a long shot! He says, we should sneak away then, it'll be special... I on the other hand told him that it'll be just as special after the ceremony! Any one else have fiance like this!? haha!

Hmmm...  Good question!  We haven't talked about this yet, so I don't know!  I think we will, but like PP's, I think we'll also be tired, so it's hard to say!   I'll have to ask FI about it tonight!  We need to get a game plan together anyway.  We've got our couples retreat this weekend & soon we'll have our meetings with the priest... Eeek!

I'm also supposed to get my period the week of the wedding.  But I'm on Nuva Ring, so I'm going to skip that month, so I don't have to deal with that on my wedding day!  One less thing to think/worry about!  = )

Nope - we were exhausted!  I was out the door at 7 that morning to get to the hair salon and DH wasn't far behind me (they did Key's breakfast and then hot shaves at Heime's Haberdashery).  By the time people left the party, it was 1 a.m.  I flopped face first on the bed and barely had enough energy left to pull the bobby pins out of my hair let alone do anything else.   

My folks threw a brunch for out of town family the next day and people gave us quite a lot of grief for showing up late to (assuming we were getting busy) but really we had to go home first because DH had forgotten to pack new boxers and when I put my bra on the underwire snapped in half.  We didn't get around to doing anything frisky until the next day after we'd caught up on sleep!!

I definitely looked at the timing of my period for when I planned the wedding! I should be just getting done at the end of the week, and it hasn't lasted more than 3 days since I've been on the pill, so I'm not too worried. Gotta love light periods!

I was also fortunate enough to have AF visit during that time. We just gave each other massages instead, which was nice.

Also, as for changing the tampon during the day, I too had a pretty easy dress to maneuver, so it wasn't an issue. I did the whole sit backward on the toilet thing and that seemed to help, cuz then the dress was outta the way.

We did do it the night of the wedding. We weren't tired at all and we got back to the hotel around 11:30ish. But our DOC surprised us with an awesome set up in our jacuzzi suite with rose petals all over, the jacuzzi warm and ready to go, and our favorite energy drinks (neither of us drank on our wedding night), so that definitely made it even more romantic. We actually stayed up for a couple hours and had a lot of fun. BUT if you are exhausted and not in the mood I wouldn't make yourself do it. The point is to have that night be memorable, but I would rather remember cuddling with my DH if I was tired rather than forcing myself to stay awake to just say that we had sex the night of our wedding.

Nope.  We closed the reception (hey, we paid for it, we were going to enjoy every minute of it!).  Then on the way home, we got about six calls from people trying to find us.  My aunt was staying at our house to get things going for the brunch the next day and accidently set off the house alarm!  By the time we got settled into the hotel, it was at least 1:30am.  My hair took a good 10 minutes to unpin and then we both wanted showers.  We hit the hot tub for a bit and then fell asleep.  The next morning was just fine with us. 

And as for inbetween the ceremony and the reception...oh my!  I can't imagine having time for that!

I can't imagine being able to fit in a quickie anywhere in the day!! Maybe if just the two of you took off on your own in a vehicle in between ceremony and reception, then I could see it. When I was younger and had crazier hormones, I swore I would be doing it my wedding night come hell or high water. Oh, youth.

Kudos to everyone that fit it in! Who knows, maybe we will get a burst of energy and go for it!

Gosh I hope so! Haha maybe I only say that now because FI and I are STILL staying with my parents so....yeah...we pretty never do it (only when we go out of town, it'd just be weird in their house!)  It's a good form of birth control, no?? Hahahaha so right now I can't imagine us not doing it but who knows, I can see myself being really tired as well.

We did! And it was actually pretty important to us to make sure we were awake enough to be able to!

Our hotel also had a jacuzzi tub so we soaked in that for a bit and then got down! Cant say we were up for hours but at least 1. It was actually a great way to unwind from such a long day.

That happened to me with FI and I got a room with a jacuzzi in Duluth.  After dinner and wine, I nearly fell asleep in the jacuzzi and didn't want to do a thing afterward.  That jacuzzi turned out to be a giant buzzkill.  I still fail to see how they're supposed to be sexy.

We're not doing the deed on our wedding night.  We're going back to our house, where we'll have guests staying with us, and I don't feel like I'd be a good host if we did it while there were other people 20 feet away.  That, and I plan to be exhausted.  Now the next night is a completely different question...

I sure hope we do! I know I will be exhausted and maybe not exactly in the mood after the day of excitement, but I will make myself rise to the occasion, hehe! I think FI would be REALLY disappointed if we didn't. I don't know why it seems so important, but it just does to me for some reason. Ditto about the jacuzzi being a "buzzkill" of sorts... We had one at the hotel we stayed at on the weekend he proposed to me, and we were trying to be all sexy and soak together with a bottle of wine, but it just made me exhausted! Maybe it's a good idea to stray away from the jacuzzi if I don't wanna poop out, hehe!

we did!  I felt like we barely had 2 seconds alone all day, so when we were finally alone and let it sink in what happened that day it was easy to find the energy.  Like Veijes, we got a second wind and ended up ordering pizza and we were up till about 2am!
