Any DJ suggestions??

My next goal is to figure out our DJ.  My biggest fear is that we won't have an awesome DJ - my biggest priority is just having a great time at the reception!  Anyone have any suggestions from DJs they've used or experienced in the past?

I just called midwest sound and they are sending me some information. They brought up a lot of good points to think about, and they will be at the bridal show this sunday so I am going to go and see them in person there. Overall, I have to say I was really impressed.

I met them at the Mankato Wedding Expo and the Wedding Fair in January and also was impressed with them!  When you go see them this weekend see if Paul is there.  My fiance and I met him and thought he had a great personality! If we decide to book them I want to try and have him as our DJ.

We met with Midwest Sound and Adagio. In the end, it was a REALLY close call between the two, but ended up going with Adagio. We just seemed to click a teeny bit more with the Adagio guy we met with.

One word: AWESOME!! My sister, 2 cousins and now I have all hired him. He is the nicest guy and truely does an amazing job. He gets everyone dancing keeps them dancing all night long! Highly recommend him!

Neon Express is a fantastic DJ service.  And one of the more inexpensive ones - a great value for your money.  They DJs are both hilarious guys and used to working with all sorts of crowds, very people-oriented and good at reading the mood and getting people on the floor.

They have 2 Dj's come, one as the actual DJ and the other as an emcee/host.
I've been in a wedding they did and it was icnredible!
Very easy to work with and always calls back promptly!

I'm also another Neon Express bride....they have had AMAZING and fast contact with us and they are so highly recommended on this board that we don't feel the least bit nervous to hire them for our wedding!
