<div>I paid $130 for hair and make up by Smart and Chic for myself.  I think it was $75 for hair and $55 for make up.  They did a great job and are (IMO) very budget friendly. </div>

Smart & Chic really hiked their prices up since Spalon Montage bought the business.

I'm going with Julie Swenson Beauty (she used to own Smart & Chic). BMs are only $50 and for me altogether (including trial) will be around $200.

ETA: Smart & Chic is now Creative Beaute Agency.

I certianly wouldn't agree that Smart and Chic is budget friendly, but that's who I'm going with.  I'm ok with paying a little more for hair and makeup so that all of us girls can get ready together.  Also my hair is down to my waist and super difficult to deal with, and I break out like a teenager, so I wanted someone who had a good repuation.  They've had good reviews as far as quality of service, and since they changed hands and turned into the Creative Beaute Agency, I haven't had any issues at all with communication.  (I know that was a big issue in the past.)  I think it's close to $200 for my hair and makeup, but I have to pay full price for a trial.  I would skip the trial, but I really feel like I need one with my difficult hair and skin.  For my girls, it's $70 each.  It's more than I wanted for them to spend, so I might cover part of the cost of their hair.

$130 for hair and makeup, not cheap since the trial run was $100, but it is my wedding day andit wasnt an area I was going to skimp on!

I'm using Kira at MUSE for hair and makeup and she seems to be mid-range for on-site. I think Emily J is the most expensive I've seen so far—her rate is $475 for hair/makeup and trials. Kira's makeup includes airbrush foundation and false lashes, and she is $200 for day-of. Her trial run is $150 for hair and makeup. My bridesmaids are going to the Blowdry Bar in Uptown and paying for their own blowouts. We also considered subsidizing the bridesmaid's updos like MrsBassPlaya did, but ultimately decided blowouts would look better on all of them.
