Minnesota-Minneapolis and St. Paul

All things MN...

I am from the cities, Fi isn't, but wedding is in Stillwater next July.  Can you ladies help me with some "Minnesota-y" things for the oot bags, and to put on our website for things to do/ places to eat.  Here is what I have so far:

Of course, MOA
Caribou Coffee
Acapulco Mexican Resturant
Ikea
Target bags (as oot bags)
Lift Bridge Brewery Beer

The guests aren't really the artsy-types, so more attraction type things would really help.  TIA!

    anything German-maybe some Glueks beer?
    Grainbelt or Summit
    wild rice
    3M products
General Mills-give them a individual size box of cereal!
    Land O' Lakes
anything having to do with the Mississippi, lakes, outdoor activities, etc
How about a Twins, vikings or Gopher keychain or sporting schedule?
Map of attractions inclugind the MIll City Museum, Science Museum, Target Field, Stone Arch Bridge, Xcel Energy Center, MN Zoo, State Parks, etc.

I would suggest going on the explore MN website.  that should give you a good idea of what kind of stuff you can highlight about MN.

    Hope this helps!

Oops. Missed the part about things to do.  On our website, we have a few of our favorite websites (local places.... a few smaller diners...) and other stuff. We included Como Park/Zoo, The Science Museum of Minnesota, and Guthrie.  All places that have special meaning to us :)

If you pm me your email, I'd be happy to share our website wtih you!

<div>I know, ha ha.  We just don't have one here, but we always bring furniture home from there so everyone wants to know, "where we got our unique stuff."</div><div>

We did a lot of those products for our OOT bags. We had:
    -GM cereal (small boxes)
    -Old Dutch chips (small bags)
    -Grain Belt Premium beer
    -Summit EPA beer
    -Pearson's Nut Roll
    -Pearson's Nut Goodie
    -Pearson's peppermint patties
    -Caribou Coffee
-Target reusable bag (for the actual bag)
    -bottled water
-welcome letter (with important numbers, like cab companies, and suggested local restaurants)

We also got the MOA brochures that they have at the airport. I put tons of suggested activities on our wedding website for our guests. Some ideas are Fort Snelling, Minnehaha Falls, Lake Calhoun, etc.

Ditto on the Old Dutch chips!  I love 'em!

    For attractions:

    Walker/sculpture garden
    Grand Ave in St. Paul
Taste of MN (depending on what week your wedding is)
MN Landscape Arboretum (a bit of a drive from the cities, but pretty cool)
Dunn Bros Coffee (I personally can't stand Caribou, it's not strong enough)
    Green Mill

Sorry Liberty. I thought you were asking for MN companies.  I only pointed it due to a recent conversation with a friend... she refused to believe me that IKEA was, in fact, a Swedish company ;)

Definitely direct visitors to IKEA! I love that store so much.

I didn't get your PM, either.  You can just email me too. steph0871 (at) gmail
